Antioch permits can start in the Civic Access portal

Antioch's Civic Access portal supports address or APN searches, building permits, planning permits, encroachment permits, inspection scheduling, invoice payments, and permit-service tasks.

Antiochbuilding permitsplanning permits

Antioch’s online permitting system is the first place to check when a project needs a city permit record. It uses the Civic Access portal.

The portal can search property records by address or APN, apply for building permits, planning permits, and encroachment permits, schedule building inspections, and pay permit invoices. That covers several different project stages, so it helps to know which stage you are in before clicking around.

For a homeowner, that may mean checking whether a prior permit exists or scheduling an inspection. For a contractor, it may mean starting a building permit or paying an invoice. For work near the public right-of-way, the encroachment permit lane may matter.

Start with the address or APN, a short project description, owner or contractor contact, and any permit number you already have. If the work touches zoning, grading, streets, or utilities, expect more than one review.
