Marsh Creek Trail links Brentwood toward the Delta

Brentwood's local trail network connects with Marsh Creek Regional Trail, a paved route that points west toward Big Break and the Delta edge.

BrentwoodMarsh Creek TrailDelta

Brentwood has more trail life than a quick drive through town may show. Miles of bike lanes and Class 1 bicycle trails run through the local network, and Marsh Creek Regional Trail gives that network a regional direction.

The regional trail is a paved multi-use route of about 6.5 miles. It runs from Creekside Park in Brentwood toward Big Break, with a longer planned trail vision of about 14 miles. Bikes, dogs, e-bikes, and horses are part of the trail-use picture, but the current trail page is the place to check details.

What makes this useful is the Delta connection. Brentwood is inland, but the trail points toward water, open space, and the larger East Bay park system. For a simple ride or walk, start with the city map, then check EBRPD alerts for the regional section.
