Skyline Trail puts Corona's foothills on the everyday map

Skyline Trail gives Corona a visible foothill route, but the best first step is still the city trail map, current access notes, and a realistic plan.

CoronaSkyline Trailfoothills

Skyline Trail is one of the places where Corona’s foothills stop being background and become part of daily life. Hikers, mountain bikers, and outdoor walkers use it to get above the city and see the edge of town in a different way.

It is also a good example of why trail planning should start with the local map. Corona’s parks page links trail plans and Skyline-area materials. The city has also gathered feedback about keeping the area natural while making visits work better for more people.

For now, use what exists today. Check the trail map, choose a time that fits the heat and daylight, bring water, and do not treat possible future improvements as current amenities.
