Downey Connect is the online service request start

Downey Connect is the online front door for many local service requests. The report page also keeps quick links nearby for resident service requests, graffiti, streetlight trouble, trash schedules, water bill information, and other common needs.

For a normal city request, sign in and use the service request form. Keep the address, cross street, or nearest landmark close by. If the issue is on a wall, alley, pole, parkway, or street corner, say exactly where it is.

The category matters. Graffiti and streetlights have their own report links, so use the closest fit instead of sending everything through one general message. The request gets a cleaner path.

Downey is dense, and many service issues happen along alleys, commercial edges, schools, and busy streets. A few extra words about the side of the block can matter ahead of a long explanation of how long the problem has been there.

If the issue touches water bills, trash schedules, or permits, use those nearby links instead. Downey’s report page is helpful because it acts like a sorting page, not a single form.
