Glendale Beeline handles local bus trips around the city
Glendale Beeline runs city bus routes in and around Glendale, while Metro and Metrolink handle many longer regional trips.
Glendale Beeline is the city’s bus system. It runs 12 fixed routes in Glendale, La Canada Flintridge, La Crescenta, and Montrose. Some routes reach JPL and the Burbank Regional Intermodal Transportation Center.
Regular-route cash fare is $1. Express Routes 11 and 12 cost $2. The farebox does not give change. Riders can also use TAP, and the fare page explains reduced fares, passes, contactless payment, and transfers.
Use Beeline for a short trip around Glendale or for the city part of a longer trip. Metro buses and Metrolink may handle the regional part. A transfer between systems can have its own fare and time limit, so check both operators.
Check the exact route and day. Weekday, Saturday, and Sunday service differs. Routes 1 through 8 run on Saturday, while only Routes 1 and 4 run on Sunday. The timetable page and real-time map are the best places to check the stop and arrival time before leaving.
