Lake Forest trash service comes with extra cleanout options
Lake Forest uses CR&R for trash service, with bulky-item pickups, household hazardous waste options, compost events, and curb rules that help avoid missed pickup.
Lake Forest trash service goes past the regular cart day. CR&R handles residential service. The extra options can help during a move, cleanout, or home project.
The solid-waste program includes three residential bulky-item pickups. It also includes a yearly bulky-item drop-off event, a yearly household hazardous waste event, two household hazardous waste pickups, a sharps mail-back program, compost events, and a reusable donated-item pickup.
For the weekly routine, carts go out by 6:30 a.m. and come back from the curb within 12 hours after service. Carts should sit about one foot apart. Keep them at least three feet from cars, hydrants, trees, or other things in the way. Extra items outside the carts are not collected.
For a small weekly question, use the cart rules. For a bigger cleanout, review the bulky, hazardous waste, and event options before paying for a separate haul.
