Mission Viejo permit work uses Client Self Service
Mission Viejo uses Client Self Service for permit and plan requests. The system covers permit applications, plan submittals, revisions, inspection scheduling, invoice payment, application status, and upcoming deadlines.
That is a lot to keep in one place, so it pays to gather documents before starting. The city recommends having the attachments needed for the permit ready and making sure the people involved in the project have online accounts.
For a homeowner, that may mean owner-builder forms, project plans, contractor information, and a clear description of the work. For a contractor or authorized agent, it may mean authorization documents and the right disclosure form.
Use the portal for the project record itself. If the question is about whether a project is allowed, zoning, or planning review, Community Development may need to answer that before the permit record makes sense.
