Ontario airport works best when the ground trip is planned

ONT Connect is also called Omnitrans Route 380. It runs nonstop between Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink Station and Ontario International Airport. At the airport it stops at Terminals 2 and 4. The boarding area is east of each terminal exit. Turn right as you leave the building.

A standalone bus ride costs $2. The connection is free with a valid Metrolink ticket. When buying the rail ticket, choose ONT Connect as the origin or destination so the trip is shown correctly in the Metrolink app or ticket machine.

The bus runs seven days a week. It does not meet every train or flight. The current timetable has gaps of about 35 to 60 minutes on weekdays and about an hour on weekends. A late train, baggage delay, or long security line can break a tight connection.

Start with the flight’s terminal. Then match the ONT Connect time to the Metrolink train. Leave a time cushion instead of treating the bus like an airport loop. For the trip home, save the terminal pickup spot and current timetable before the flight.
