Arrow gives Redlands three local rail stops
Arrow links San Bernardino with Redlands-Esri, Redlands-Downtown, and Redlands-University, with different parking and transfer rules at each stop.
Arrow is the local rail line between San Bernardino-Downtown and Redlands. Redlands has three stops: Esri, Downtown, and University. Choose the stop by the final address, not just the city name. Esri has no public parking. Downtown and University have free parking.
Most riders on Metrolink’s San Bernardino Line change trains at San Bernardino-Downtown. One Metrolink ticket covers both trains. The current weekday schedule also has one round trip between L.A. Union Station and Redlands-Downtown with no Arrow transfer. That train uses the separate Metrolink Express platform and ends at Downtown rather than Esri or University.
Arrow runs seven days a week, but the gaps are not even. The current timetable has both half-hour gaps and gaps of an hour or more. Buy a ticket in the Metrolink app or at a station machine before boarding. The trains have level boarding and room for up to 12 bikes. They do not have restrooms, and food and drink are not allowed.
Open the current schedule and choose the exact Redlands stop before leaving. For the trip home, check whether the plan uses Arrow plus a transfer or one of the two direct trains. That detail changes the platform, travel time, and stops.
