Rialto business licenses have a portal and review window
Rialto business license applications move through the online permitting center, with home-based businesses needing both a home occupation permit and a home occupation license.
Rialto business license work is mostly an online permitting center task, but the details matter before you upload anything. The process separates business license classifications, documents, review, invoices, renewals, special events, and permit accounts.
Home-based businesses need extra attention. Rialto separates the Home Occupation Permit from Planning and the Home Occupation License from Business Licensing. That is easy to miss if you think “home business” means fewer steps.
For commercial and industrial businesses, gather the documents first. The business type may point to a seller’s permit, health permit, contractor license, state fee, planning review, or other record. After the application is reviewed, the invoice comes through the portal.
Before you apply, write down the business classification, address, owner, home or commercial status, seller’s permit if needed, health or contractor documents, and whether you already have a state license or building permit. Rialto posts review windows, so build that time into your opening plan.
