Roseville heat, flood maps, and incident updates use different pages
Use Roseville's heat page for cooling options, flood pages for property and stream information, and Placer Alert and ReadyPlacer for current emergency instructions.
Roseville’s heat page lists libraries, the Utility Exploration Center, pools, and spray grounds as places to cool off. Use the list as a starting point. It does not promise that every site is open or serving as an emergency cooling center. Check the site’s hours and access before you leave. The city also links to Roseville Transit for trip help.
Call 9-1-1 for urgent heat trouble. Call 2-1-1 for non-emergency help or local services. Placer Alert sends emergency notices. The ReadyPlacer Dashboard shows current incidents, evacuation areas, roads, outages, air quality, and weather.
Flood pages have two jobs. Roseville’s flood-zone and hazard maps help with home risk and long-term plans. The city’s stream and rain level page helps during a storm. So does ReadyPlacer. A flood-zone map does not tell you if a street is safe to use now.
Roseville uses California’s standard evacuation terms. A warning means there may be a threat. People who need more time should leave early. So should people with pets or livestock. An order means an immediate threat and a lawful command to leave now. When things change, use the newest Placer Alert and official orders.
