Santa Clarita permit questions start at the Permit Center
Santa Clarita has a useful setup for projects that touch more than one desk. The One-Stop Permit Center at City Hall covers building and safety, engineering, and planning questions. The online eService system handles plan and document uploads.
The range helps with tenant work, additions, signs, business spaces, and bigger home projects. One project can involve building review, a planning question, engineering notes, and later inspections.
Some home items have a faster online path. The Permit Center page names instant online permits for main panel upgrades, water heater changes, water service, and repipe work. Larger or business projects may still need the Permit Center.
Before you use eService or visit City Hall, gather the address, owner contact, plan files, and a short description of the work. If a contractor is involved, keep that contact close. If the project changes how a space is used, write that down too.
The Permit Center address is 23920 Valencia Boulevard, Suite 140. It is the backup when the online choices do not quite fit the project.
