West Covina issue reports need the place and the problem

Use West Covina’s web portal or GoGov app for a routine city service request. Topics include graffiti, city trees, parks, streets, street sweeping, traffic lights, sewers, trash, and power or water service. The system also includes some animal-control and police topics.

Pick the closest topic and give the exact location, using a street address when you have one. If you do not, give the cross streets, park, light-pole number, or another fixed landmark. Describe what you can see: “Pothole in the eastbound lane” gives staff more to work with than “bad road.”

The web page and phone app use the same city system. If they fail, call 626-939-8458. On voicemail, leave your name, phone or email, the problem, and its place. There is no single reply time for every kind of request. A report is not the same as a crew being sent at once.

Staff handles these reports during regular work hours, so the system is not watched all day and night. Call 911 for an emergency that needs help now. For a normal request, save the location and note you sent so you can give staff the same facts during a follow-up.
