Montebello Bus Lines is a city-run transit layer
Montebello Bus Lines gives the city and nearby communities their own municipal bus system, with local routes, fare rules, and a Metrolink shuttle layer.
In Montebello, Metro is not the whole bus map. The city has Montebello Bus Lines. It serves Montebello and nearby cities.
The local rules matter. A fare, pass, or transfer may not work the same way it does on Metro. Routes reach places such as Pico Rivera, East Los Angeles, Whittier, Commerce, and Downtown Los Angeles. Montebello LINK connects the Metrolink station with job centers and local stops.
Before you ride, open the city transit page. Match the route, fare, and transfer to your trip. That small check can save a missed bus or a pass that does not work.
That local layer is easy to miss if you only open a regional map. It can be the difference between a clean transfer and a confusing wait.
