Norwalk bulky pickup needs a call before collection day
Norwalk residents can schedule bulky item pickup through Athens Services, with the request made at least 24 hours before the regular collection day.
Norwalk bulky item pickup is available for residential service, but it is not something to leave to chance on trash morning. Call Athens Services at 855-557-1007 at least 24 hours before your normal collection day.
The timing matters because bulky items should be scheduled for the regular service day. If you have curbside cart service, place the items within 3 feet of the curb next to the cart before 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled day. If you have bin service, put the items next to the trash bin.
Large loose piles can create confusion. Rugs, bushes, branches, and lumber need to be cut and tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet and under 150 pounds.
Before calling, make a quick list of what you want picked up. If you are clearing out after a move, remodel, or family cleanup, that list helps Athens tell you what can go in the bulky pickup and what needs a different drop-off path.
