Poway's online services are the door for permits and records
Poway handles building permit work through online services, and electronic submittals are the normal path. That includes permit applications, plans, permit records, business certificates, and regulatory licenses.
The Online Services Directory is useful because a project may need Building, Planning, Engineering, or Fire review. A small home project may stay with Building. A grading, right-of-way, fire, or planning question may need a different department.
For building work, start with the project address and a clear description of what is changing. Add plans, product information, contractor details, and whether the project touches plumbing, electrical, mechanical, structure, drainage, or the exterior.
For a business certificate or regulatory license, keep the business activity and location facts handy too. If one project includes both a business opening and construction, track the permit record and business record together.
