Rancho Cucamonga homes use Burrtec for weekly waste service
Burrtec is Rancho Cucamonga's exclusive waste hauler. Single-family service includes weekly trash, recycling, and organics plus four no-charge bulky collections during a 12-month period.
Every occupied home or business in Rancho Cucamonga must keep trash service. Burrtec is the city’s exclusive approved hauler. Use Burrtec’s request form to start, change, or stop an account, or call 909-987-3717. Have the service address, name, phone, email, and account number if you have one.
Home trash, recycling, and organics are picked up once a week. Black is for trash, blue for recycling, and green for food and yard waste. Tie food scraps and food-soiled paper in a bag before they go in the green cart, but leave yard waste loose. Put carts out by 6 a.m. with the handles toward the home. Leave three feet by a car or mailbox and one foot between carts.
A single-family account gets four bulky pickups at no added charge during a 12-month period. Each pickup can take up to five items. Call at least 24 hours ahead. Car parts, building debris, and household hazardous waste are not allowed. The current Burrtec guide counts 12 months, while the city page uses a calendar year. Ask Burrtec when your four-pickup count starts over.
If you live in an apartment, condo, or mobile-home park, ask the manager first. A site with shared bins may not give each home its own Burrtec account or the same bulky pickup deal.
