The 311 website gives you a request number after you submit. That helps you track the request. The city also offers a 311 Riverside app for phone-based requests.
Use it for common city problems where location matters. A cross street, address, short description, and photo can help the city see what needs attention.
Riverside also has separate online services for permits, business licenses, police reports, and graffiti reports. If your issue has a more exact city path, use that path.
For normal city fixes, start with 311. For emergencies, active safety problems, or police matters, use the contact route shown for that kind of issue.
