Riverside utilities use RPU for power and water

Riverside Public Utilities handles start, stop, and transfer service for power and water accounts, with customer service also helping with billing, assistance programs, rebates, and account questions.

RiversideRiverside Public Utilitiesutilities

RPU is Riverside’s city-run power and water office. Start there when you need to turn service on, stop service, or move service to another Riverside address.

The site keeps those jobs separate. New or returning customer? Use the start path. Leaving an address? Use the stop path. Moving within the RPU area? Use the transfer path.

RPU customer service also helps with account questions. That can include bills, payment plans, help programs, rebates, hydrant forms, and power or water problems.

Before you open a form, write down the service address, move date, and contact information. If the question is not about power or water, Riverside 311 or another city office may fit better.
