Victorville VVTA routes cover more than one kind of trip

Victorville riders use VVTA routes for local trips, mall and college connections, High Desert links, and longer routes toward Barstow or San Bernardino.

VictorvilleVVTAtransit

Victorville transit works better when you picture the city as part of the whole High Desert, rather than one local grid. VVTA lists fixed routes that touch Victorville, Adelanto, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Barstow, Helendale, Lucerne Valley, and Fort Irwin areas.

Inside Victorville, several routes are especially practical. Route 52 links the Victor Valley Transportation Center and Mall of Victor Valley. Other listed Victorville routes connect places such as Victor Valley College, Lorene and 7th, Hesperia, Barstow, and San Bernardino.

That spread fits how people actually move in the High Desert. A rider may be going to school, work, a medical visit, a shopping trip, a county errand, or a regional connection. The route number matters because two trips that both start in Victorville may head in very different directions.

Use the VVTA route and fare pages together. First pick the route by destination. Then look at the fare and schedule close to the ride day, especially if the trip crosses from a local errand into a longer regional ride.
