Chula Vista permits start with Citizen Access
Chula Vista Development Services uses Citizen Access for new submittals, permit research, inspection scheduling, fee payment, project tracking, and online permit help.
Citizen Access is Chula Vista’s online permit tool. Use it to look up permits. Use it to track a project. Use it to schedule inspections. You can also pay fees and send new plans or forms.
That helps because many chores sound like one big permit question. A home repair is not the same as an ADU. An inspection is not the same as a record search. Each one may have a different next step.
Development Services also has help by visit, appointment, email, and phone. That is useful when a project does not fit neatly into a simple online form.
For a clean start, gather the property address, permit number if there is one, and a short note about the work. If payment instructions feel odd, use the official Development Services contact path first.
