Chula Vista parking tickets have a city and downtown split

Chula Vista separates city-issued parking citations from ACE Parking citations inside the Downtown Parking District, so the citation number and location decide the right payment or appeal path.

Chula Vistaparkingcitations

In Chula Vista, a parking ticket can send you to two different offices. The split depends on whether the citation came from the city or from ACE Parking inside the Downtown Parking District.

For city-issued citations, the city page explains online, mail, and in-person payment options. It also asks people to include the citation number, and it notes that citation numbers beginning with certain letters use the city online payment path.

Downtown ACE citations use a separate ACE page. That page has its own online, mail, phone, and storefront information. ACE citations cannot be paid at the Chula Vista Police or Finance departments.

Before paying or appealing, look at the citation number, the location, and the issuing name. If you use the wrong route, the payment or appeal can be delayed. Save a copy or photo of the ticket and any proof you plan to include.
