Clovis puts water, sewer, and refuse on one city account

One Clovis account covers water, sewer, refuse, street sweeping, recycling, and organics. Most start requests take effect by the end of the next business day.

One Clovis account covers water, sewer, trash, street sweeping, recycling, and food and yard waste. The city sends a bill every two months.

Start service online, by phone, or at the counter. A request made during the day will most often start service by the end of the next workday, though the city may ask for more facts first. The first bill adds a $10 setup fee that is not paid back and a $150 deposit that can be. Clovis waives the deposit if you had city service before and did not pay late. The first bill can take up to two months to arrive.

The start form asks if you own or rent. Have the account names, phone, service and billing addresses, old Clovis address if you had one, driver’s-license number, email, and start date ready.

Tell the city before you stop service. Charges continue until Clovis gets the stop request. Have the stop date, account number, service address, new mailing address, phone, and email ready. Once the account is set, Public Utilities handles pickup days and work in the field.
