Hemet library and parks pages separate city services from recreation
Hemet's city pages point residents to the public library and city parks, while organized recreation is handled separately by Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District.
Hemet is a good example of why the right local source matters. The city has parks and a public library. Some organized recreation programs come from a separate district.
For organized recreation, the city points residents to Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District. That includes things like softball and tennis tournaments. Hemet Public Library is at 300 East Latham Avenue. It has its own hours and services.
Before signing up for a class or asking about a program, check who runs it. City parks, the library, and Valley-Wide recreation are related. They are not the same counter.
